WHAT: Hilary’s Eat Well makes a great tasting plant-based veggie burger, that is free of all the common food allergens and artifical ingredients… and claims of being “World’s Best Veggie Burger”.
WHY: Hilary’s are gluten free, soy free, GMO free, organic, they taste great and even their packaging is recyclable and biodegradable. The burgers contain two gluten free whole grains, four vegetables and healthy fats. Free of the common food allergens: gluten, corn, soy, yeast, dairy, egg, nut and full of easy-to-digest, nutrient-dense ingredients such as quinoa* (which is actually a seed, but acts as a great substitute for grains, full of complete protein), millet, sweet potato, spinach (I wouldn’t have been able to tell if I hadn’t seen this on the package), Real Salt (my favorite Sea Salt) and seasoning such as garlic, onion, gren chile, chipotle powder, and apple cider vinegar.

*** When buying veggie burgers be sure to check the label and make sure you recognize what’s listed! Important ingredients to look out for (and avoid)… TVP (textured vegetable protein), Soy protein isolates, and Soy protein concentrate… None of which are ingredient’s in Hilary’s burgers.
WHERE: Currently available at health markets such as Erewhon Natural Foods Market, and Whole Foods; $3.79 for a pack of 2 burger patties.
THE VERDICT: This was my first time trying Hilary’sand I am a fan! Not only are the ingredients completely on point, but I love that they have flavor without being overpowering. Personally, I like when products aren’t overly dressed so there’s a little room for me to spice it up with the condiments of my choice. And that was definitely the case with Hilary’s. Also!!! (big also) it’s SO EASY to prepare! I made mine in the oven (5 minutes each side)… fast and delish! We plan to keep Hilary’s stocked up in our freezer for quick dinners!
Hilary’s also makes Veggie Bites that are the perfect size for kids or an easy appetizer!
