Earth Science peel

WHAT: Earth Science is an amazing line of clean, gentle and effective skincare products – in particular beauty products.

WHY: Created by people who choose natural over artificial, Earth Science products contain quality plant-based ingredients, are never tested on animals, and are always paraben free. On of my favorite Earth Science products is the Papaya-Glycolic Gentle Skin Peel“, made with papaya and Bentonite clay. Bentonite Clay is composed of aged volcanic ash; it is a common ingredient in detox and cleansing products because of its ability to produce an “electrical charge” when hydrated – which gives it the power to absorb toxins. Healing clays like Bentonite have a high concentration of minerals including silica, calcium, magnesium, sodium, iron, and potassium – great for all types of skin problems and to speed healing. Papaya fruit enzymes are great for soft, smooth, glowing skin because it’s a natural exfoliator (loaded with Vitamin A and Papain that help to remove dead skin cells), and skin discoloration from acne scars/blemishes.

A unique herbal peel scientifically formulated with papaya fruit extract and apricot kernel oil to purify and freshen skin. pH 6.5 / Vegan & Gluten-free

WHERE: Available online (with lots of discounted prices) at Earth Science Naturals or in most health food stores such as Whole Foods Market, and Erewhon Natural Foods Market and Sprouts. I love the “Papaya-Glycolic Gentle Skin Peel”, $14.35 that will last you about 30 masks, depending on how thick you put it on.

A small papaya provides 300% of your daily vitamin C. The “Papaya Gentle Skin Peel” provides smoother, fresher feeling skin after just one use!

ClayBentonite clay is known for its ability to absorb and remove toxins, heavy metals, impurities, and chemicals.

THE VERDICTEarth Science is one of my absolute favorites in natural beauty – incredibly hydrating and healing on sensitive skin, without harmful ingredients or high prices! Oh and this mask in particular is a deep blueish-gray (from the clay), so you look like a smurf.
